Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s)
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) is a term used to refer to a person’s daily self-care activities. There are five basic ADLs: eating, personal hygiene, dressing, toileting/continence, and transferring/mobility. There are three basic levels of assistance in-home care that we assign to a client’s ADL needs Hands-On Assistance, Stand-By Assistance, and Independent.
