Dementia is a symptom or a syndrome that refers to an impairment of at least two brain functions, severe enough to interfere with daily life. Dementia is damage to or loss of the brain cells. The cause of this damage can be due to trauma, medication side effects, excessive alcohol intake, vitamin deficiencies, or some of the more common diseases like Alzheimer’s, Vascular Dementia, Frontotemporal Lobe Dementia, and Lewy Body Dementia.

Our caregivers have special training to provide that support.
